Hi. I'm Chris and I have a sweet ride to show you!
I purchased this car in February 2000 from the second owner, who bought
the car in 1966. This 1956 Nomad had been stored in his garage since 1969
and started and moved frequently so he could clean the garage.

Since February of 2000 the car has been in MY HEATED SHOP where I enjoy looking
at it, starting it, and occasionally driving it! Where ever I want to go, it
will make it!

Part of the fun of driving this car is watching the heads turn. Around here, people
don't see many of these grocery-getters anymore.

The Nomad is in its original condition, although it has been difficult for me to resist customizing the little jewel. But I managed to resist the temptation! Except for the wheels and tires, it is in the same condition as I bought it from the second owner.

This car was completely repainted in 1966 after a minor fender-bender, which damaged the
passenger-side door and fender. Both the fender and door were replaced, not patched.
The body shows no sign of present or previous rust except around the inside of the
tailgate. The rubber mat and the underlayment in the cargo needs replaced, but other than
that, the interior is in very good condition.

Under the hood, lives an original 265 cubic inch V8 with its original automatic powerglide transmission! And YES... the engine has 51 years of grease and grime.

The odometer reads 91,676 miles which the second owner claims to be accurate. And from the condition of the car, I believe him!

FEATURES: Hang-down air conditioner (unused since 1969) and working Power Front Seats. The carpet is original, the Backseat covers are original. The Frontseat has been recovered.
